The Arab International Commission for Reconstruction Begins Damage Assessment in the Gaza Strip.

Driven by its humanitarian duty and as part of its mission to contribute to the reconstruction of Gaza, the Arab International Commission for Reconstruction in Palestine (AIOCP) has begun the damage assessment process in the Gaza Strip.

This assessment effort falls within a program launched by the Palestinian government under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme / Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP) and the Arab International Commission for Reconstruction in Palestine.

The program is set to deploy 700 engineers to ensure comprehensive and accurate coverage of the damages. The collected data will serve as the foundation for designing interventions for early recovery, rehabilitation, and the reconstruction phases in the Gaza Strip.
